I joined this site to try and find someone who shared my interests and enjoyed some of the same things I do. Too often when I tell someone what I"m interested in and what I enjoy they either run screaming into the night or look at me with THAT look.

I know that there are ladies out there that enjoy science fiction as much as I do. When William Bonny was asked why he robbed banks, he replied "Thats where the money is." Well, for people that enjoy science fiction like I do, this is where the money is.

Probably my most favorite science fiction series are FIrefly and Farscape. Ok, I know they`re both gone now, but I still like them. I was raised on the classic Dr. Who episodes and late 1970s anime so my views on what makes a story good is a tad skewed. But I know what I like.

Personally, I think that Enterprise had more potential than the original series did. It had better cast and better stories. Certianly better than `Starfleet as Galactic Social Workers` in Next Generation.

I enjoy the SCA and Ren Faires. I play DnD as well as other RPGs. I play WoW from time to time,and I'm waiting for the new Trek MMORPG and the new Star Wars MMO. Yes, that makes me a gamer geek, just not so much of a Playstation gamer geek.

So, I'm a geek. I admit it. I'm even a bit of a nerd. And thats fine with me. Hopefully, you're a little of each as well. I'm looking for someone thats affectionate and enjoys new experiences. Perhaps a little adventure along the way. Give me a shout and take a chance.
