Yeah, like this is easy.
Let's see; I love sci-fi. I have a particular fondness for Star Trek and Star Wars (I saw Star Wars in the theater when I was six, and it was the biggest thing in my world), but I love just about anything sci-fi/fantasy related, as long as it's done well. Favorites of mine are Firefly, TNG, DS9, Buffy, The X-Files; the new Star Trek movie is incredible.
I'd like to meet folks on here who like to discuss cool stuff--whether it's the above, or comics, or just plain "Wouldn't it be neat if..." kinda stuff. Not necessarily looking for any kind of romance, but wouldn't mind finding someone special here. I'm divorced, and part of the problem was that my ex always took the time to let me know that my interests were "foolish".
I'm a fantasy/sci-fi writer. So far an unpublished one, but a writer nonetheless. I'd really enjoy communicating with people who have similar interests.

The fact that I'm writing all this should tell you that I love this stuff.
