SciFi Fem Fan Seeking SciFi Man 60+ Do you like someone who is a little out of step with the general crowd? ... Perhaps someone who is independent and also really cares about people? ... Or someone who appreciates intelligence while being easy going and laid back? ... and has the imagination required to read and appreciate real science fiction? Perhaps you find yourself a bit like that, too.

I find other attitudes to be fundamental. I believe in really communicating with people, not arguing. Let�s discuss disagreements and differences, either compromise or agree to disagree. Treat others with kindness. Don�t drag old baggage around. Deal with it and put it away. Love of family and friends is basic to life. Don�t be arrogant, but don�t belittle yourself either. As an old saying goes, �Be true to yourself.�

Be flexible. Remember what happened to the dinosaurs when they couldn�t adapt. You may find another person�s favorite activities to be something you have never considered. Learn something new. Try things out.

Here are some of my favorite things ... movies and dining out. (Yes, I know everyone says this, but what the heck, I like movies and dinner out too.) I also like fishing and camping, playing cards (penny-anti poker anyone?), traveling to little known places, day trips and longer, driving down a little country road just to see where it goes, following fire trucks, living the beach and the mountains, hiking (but not too rugged), walking barefoot in the creek, sunsets, sunrises and a beautiful blue sky with white fluffy clouds, intelligent conversation, intimate conversation, and reading just about anything. Did I mention that I like cuddling on the couch, making out in the car, walking together holding hands, and kissing (soft, long, hard, sweet, passionate, tender, etc. etc.)?
