Between Star Trek The Next Generation, and the original Star Wars Trilogy, to years spent watching Red Dwarf and Doctor Who on PBS with my friends, to reading Heinlein, Stephenson, Clarke, and Adams, my life has been throughly enriched, if not indeed shaped by the fantastic imaginations of great writers.
