I'm a 34-year professional who embraced my inner geekdom at a young age. Besides sci-fi, I'm huge into traveling, music and sports. I work in radio, originally for the love of music and now covering sports and I live my job. I have a six-year-old "puppy" and love animals in general. I've been known to travel on a whim, sometimes for culture (museums, fistory, natural beauty) and other times for flimsical fun (Disney nut). I consider myself a Humanitarian and volunteer weekly with Habitat for Humanity. Sci-fi wise, My faves are TV/movie-based: Trek, Wars, Dr. Who, Red Dwarf, BG (both, more the new series). I also read in the genre and my favorites are AC Clarke and Douglas Adams.
