I'm studying Politics/Sociology at York (live in Cheltenham), entering my second year in a few months, and intend to do a Master's (at least) afterwards. I try not to take anything seriously and I'm pretty relaxed about most things. I don't really drink/club, but I am an avid cinema-goer (though I probably watch more films on DVD) and live comedy attendee. Generally up for trying new things.
Since this my scifi profile:
I've pretty much had a life-long love affair with science fiction and space/the universe in general. Whether this is games (eg Mass Effect, Halflife, etc), films (Blade Runner, District 9, etc), TV (BATTLESTAR GALACTICA!!!!, Firefly, etc) or books (William Gibson, Iain M Banks, etc) doesn't really matter. However, I am pretty specific with the sci-fi I like, disliking things I think are simply too unlikely (like Dune - feudal empires in space? Nonsense. Any kind of space-based expansion is bound to have a decentralizing effect...) or too silly. Prefer hard scifi to soft.
I love looking at the stars, too.
Anyway, I'm looking for someone very, very bright, quirky, ethical, sci-fi-ish and unusual
