A Companion for the rest of the journey I live on my own property in the North Okanagan, and I work full time as an employment counselor, which I enjoy. I love science fiction,fantasy and animation of all kinds, in print, on TV and movies. I like road trips, sightseeing, camping, boating, fishing,spending time with friends and family, playing cards or board games, cooking and trying new foods, drinking wine with enjoyable company, and good (belgian) chocolate.. I like watching birds, and maintain a busy bird feeder in my yard year-round. I make my own wine, and enjoy gardening, and puttering around the yard. I think garage sales are fun, and I enjoy finding a treasure at a bargain. I love spending time with my dog, walking/exploring the local trails and surrounding area, and I'm trying Geocaching with my new iPhone this afternoon for the first time. I am a lifelong learner, and make it a goal every year to engage in some type of personal or professional development.

I'm looking for a long term relationship with an intelligent and stable gentleman of approximately my age. I live in the Okanagan, and do not wish to relocate, as my aging parents live here. I like to smile and laugh, sometimes I sing in the shower, so someone who is optimistic and outgoing would be a good match. I think politeness and respect is important, esp. among friends and lovers. I am financially stable, and expect my partner to be so as well. I have no children, but would enjoy kids and grandkids. Must love dogs!
