Crackers Don't Matter! I don't even want to know how many hours of my life I've spent watching Stargate and Farscape. I'm sure it's some ridiculous number that I should be ashamed of, but in my opinion it was time well spent.

I love classic Star Trek. It's just so charming and fun to watch. I've watched most of The Next Generation as well, but while it was a good show in it's own way, I feel it lacked a lot of the chemistry the original series had. I've only seen an episode here and there from the series since TNG, so I can't say much about them. One day I might get around to sitting down and watching them, but I'm not particularly drawn to any of them.

I own all of Stargate SG-1 on DVD, as well as half of Stagate Atlantis and all of Andromeda (despite a steep drop in my opinion of the show). Naturally I also have Farscape on DVD, since it's not only my favourite sci fi show, but one of my favourite shows ever. That's right, not Firefly (which I also own), Farscape.

The first few episodes of Farscape are pretty hit or miss, but the show really grows into something else. I don't think I've ever been as emotionally attached to characters before, and the show regrets nothing as it plays with our heartstrings and makes everything go wrong for our protagonists. Season finale cliffhangers in Farscape are absolutely heartbreaking, and I love it. The show balances comedy, drama, and action so well. The majority of the cast is absolutely amazing (Pilot is the coolest muppet ever), and if you haven't seen the show you're really missing out. It's on Netflix, go watch it!
