Love SciFi

Love SciFi I only just realized in the last 10 years or so what a scifi geek I've actually been my whole life. I grew up on Star trek, Star Wars, and Battlestar galactica. I have watched every new version of Star Trek. For me they got better as they got newer. I know die hard trekkies would disagree but I don't care. Better acting, better graphics, and better story lines means better shows. Oh and I also watch the Hobbit every year on tv. I have bought and seen all the LOTR extended versions and have the collectibles that came with the dvd's and the cartoon versions and have read the books. I have read all of Anne McCaffrey's Pern books and others. I have also read all the Harry Potters and seen all the movies a couple hundred times cause I have an 11 year old that has been in love with Harry since she was 3. I kinda love him too. LOL.

I found out about this site watching Ellen Degeneres. I finally see hope for finding someone I have something in common with. I am currently overweight but am getting surgery to work on that ASAP! I am looking for an average to decent looking guy. Hair is optional but no long hair, very juvenile. I want brains but not arrogance, very unattractive. I know this is straight forward and blunt but I'm looking for a guy that can handle that about me. I want to start out slow getting to know each other and work up to a real relationship.
