ok lets have some fun. With the large fleet of space craft out there in the science fiction universe so which is your favorite? anf Why?
do you look at size, style, speed, character of the craft, Fire power, versatility, or a combination of the above ?
What about personal history?
Today I am leaning towards the Versitile Eagle Craft of space 1999. it was the first fictional toy spacecraft i had( I aready had a toy replica of the Apollo Rocket) You could rearange it as a fighter, command vehicle, research craft, cargo ship, or personel shuttle. What do you think [/i][/b]
Will someone shut that man up

Oh yeah, I like the Eagle but it's too slow and short range.
I'd like a Starfleet runabout---my very own personal 75-foot motoryacht.
Interstellar capacity with a roomy interior and replicators.
Compact enough to set down on a beach or mountain meadow---the perfect RV!

That would make an interesting Star Trek show. The washed out Starfleet officer, who had read of the exploits of previous Federation captains, and attempted to become one himself, but failed. He then moved to a backwater planet on the fringe of Federation space, and acquired an Aurelian Freighter off the black market. He then retro-fit it with Federation parts from a eccentric ex-engineer, who was an amazing genius, but some personal tragedy cause him to become somewhat deranged. This however, opened up his genius even more, and he came up with ideas that Starfleet engineering wasn't even considering, but since they wouldn't take him seriously, and he was a friend with the washed out officer, he joins his crew. It would be like Firefly meets Star Trek.

`I have three. The USS Enterprise E, the Delta Flyer, and of course... the original USS Enterprise. No A, B, C, OR D! The Constallation Class was my first love for ships.

`I know I'm just a silly girl but...I would have to pick Firefly because it is roomy and has a well equipped kitchen.

I'd have to pick the Millenium Falcon or Moya (From Farscape). Although the Serenity Firefly is way up on my list of starships I'd pilot if I could.
There are 10 types of people in this world...Those who know Binary, and those who don't. |

`the last star fighter was a mean piece of space machinery. the death blossom was the ultimate back up in a tight spot. but personally i think darth vaders flagship is was the one that blew me away. the opening sceen in star wars when it first comes into view, then keeps coming and coming. its huge. its got my vote.

Not surprisingly the Enterprise D is on my list, but I doubt many even know my favorite ship; USS Insignia (NCC-75400), it looks like a modern version of USS Enterprise (NX-01) and I honestly don't remember which episode it appears in.
Now, if this was a science fiction movie, this is the part where the brilliant boy genius that everybody has been ignoring up to this point, pipes up and tells the balding Captain that by cross linking the Warp Core, the Impulse engine and a reverse framistat, then dividing the warp field lattice by the square root of last Tuesday, he can get them all home. |

`I'd have to choose the Enterprise-A. The best combination of style, class, form and function. The Enterprise-E is much more bad-a**, but the A had more style.
