I went to my first convention this past January and got to meet Sir Patrick Stewart! Now I'm hooked and planning to attend the Official Star Trek Convention in Las Vegas in August. I really just want to meet someone to geek out with (online or in person) and perhaps someone male or female to accompany me to the con in LV. In fact, another woman equally obsessed with Data/Brent Spiner would be ideal.
Aside from TNG I am also obsessed with the X-Files (since the first episode). I have had a life-long fascination with all things paranormal or unexplained. I celebrate Halloween the entire month of October. I probably watch more movies than Roger Ebert. I love playing games of any kind but most especially survival horror video games (currently playing Fatal Frame 2 on xbox). I'm always reading something and it's usually in the paranormal/sci-fi family, non-fiction mostly but not always. I just finished "I Am Legend" by Richard Matheson. (Brilliant!) I also love the outdoors (camping, hiking), traveling (anytime, anywhere), and exploring whether close to home or across the ocean.
