Looking for someone who enjoys watching hard science sci-fi films (not fantasy)and reads sci-fi stories and books. Like to talk about philosophical discussion about the social, legal, intellectual, political, scientific and communal ramifications of hard science sci-fi developments in the various media. Would like someone who can enjoy fun events aside from sci-fi such as dinner, travel, and in learning about one another and then pursuing mutual interests. Partial couch potato activities also acceptable. Foreign travel especially interests me at least once per year. Someone with a higher education and who is self reliant also sought, but not required. Someone who is positive and loves life and all it has to offer preferred. No smokers, no drug users, no alcoholics, no gamblers (except casual fun), no co-dependent persons would be ideal.
