I'm a huge geek. My biggest weakness is (obviously) Star Wars, although that is far from the border of the vast geek empire I call home. Most Sci-Fi (yes, even some Star Trek), Fantasy, Detective stories, Video Games, Table-top games, Role Playing, Card Games, Cartoons, Science Experiments, Contact Juggling, Musical Instruments, Trivia Tournaments and Astrology all have their place in the kingdom I call home. If it involves a certain degree of intelligent thinking, manual dexterity, or tells a good story, chances are I like it. Now don't get me wrong, this is no way makes me a lazy shut in with no exposure to the outside world; in fact, it's quite the opposite. Everything I learn about, all the stories I get sucked into, just help to power my sense of adventure. Hiking, Geo-caching, camping, fishing, building random things, blacksmithing, urban exploration, long road trips to no where; these are all things that are common place in my life, and brought about my my curiosity or infatuation with something I saw, or heard about, or read an article on.

Humour is probably the real driving force in my life. I live to laugh, and there's nothing I enjoy doing more. If you ever end up spending any time with me, it might not be a bad practice to stretch out some of your face muscles a bit before hand, because I promise they're bound to get over worked. I'll honestly do or say almost anything if I think it's worth a laugh, or even a smile. Also, however, you should be warned, when I say I'll say anything for a laugh, I'm not really exaggerating. I will poke fun at and/or call out anyone, even myself, if I think it's funny. If you've got a good sense of humour and can take a joke, then we shouldn't have a problem, I'm not malicious with my comedy, just thorough. However, if you're uptight or overly self conscious, then we might have an issue, even though I assure you, its all in good fun.
