Rob is a 26-year-old bloke from Rochester in Kent, who, whether by the vagaries of genetics is a proud and unabashed geek. Additionally, possibly due to some sort of latent dissociative disorder, he also tends to start descriptions of himself in the third person.

Ahem, that's better. I'm Rob, 26, and I'm looking for someone. Who knows, it could be you! Oh, this is supposed to be about me? Right.

Anyway, I'm a student. I study Model Making, which is just as geeky as it sounds ; ) My ambition is to design action figures. I'm a keen sculptor and I'm getting pretty good at it. Time will tell!

Comics, video games and obscurely complicated board games (like Warhammer, I'm sure you know how complicated that can be!) are all things I enjoy.

I also love movies, some better than others, the best among them being Lord of the Rings, which I view as being perfection in celluloid.

I also like any sort of fantasy movie, or sci-fi movies, or movies set in a depressing post-apocalyptic setting (all the better if Zombies are involved!) I'm a massive fan of good TV, with current favourites being Heroes, TNG, CSI, Firefly (RIP) and scads of others.

Shall I talk about music? Well, I guess I ought to. I like guitars, and I like music that doesn't take itself particularly seriously. Which explains why I like hair metal and 80's rock.

I also like power ballads, especially Meat Loaf. What a legend.

I quite enjoy socialising with a select group of friends for quiet drinks in pubs, dinners out or other such 'normal' things. Don't like clubs though, never really did to be fair. Prefer an evening in or hanging out with a select group rather than meeting scads of unsuitable randoms. Sitting in front of the TV with a cutting-edge new tv series with loads of junk food can't really be beaten.

Also like - real ale, intense passionate discussion, listening to people rant about what they love, good times with friends, big TVs and fast cars (well, I am a bloke ; ) ).
