Looking for a fellow nerd. I have no problems with a deep discussion about the origin of the Borg or asking questions about the different time lines of movies. Not limiting myself to Star Trek, Wars, Dr Who or any static set of characters. If you watch a movie and find yourself talking to someone about the theories behind The Matrix and how would we know. Are we all in our own setting, and pod isolated? Would the machine mind allow some of us to escape just to inject some random thoughts that only we as humans can come up with. Or is all of it a simulation? If time travel were real, how do we know that this present hasn't been shaped to fit the will of the human power elite?
