Shy casual sci-fi gal seeks nerd in shining armor I would consider myself a casual geek. I like playing video games once in a while.

Although I didn't find out about it until it was cancelled, one of my favorite shows is Firefly. I'll watch almost anything if Joss Whedon is involved.

I watched and enjoyed Stargate SG1 on Netflix for the first six or seven seasons before I lost interest.

I like the new Battlestar Galactica and some of the SciFi channel shows (I hate that they've renamed it Syfy). I enjoyed Eureka, Warehouse 13, and Alphas but I wish they'd stop adding so many reality shows (Total Blackout, Fact or Faked, Ghost Hunters)

I enjoy SciFi movies too. Besides Serenity, I enjoy movies like Minority Report and Gattaca.
