So not sure if I'm getting this layout but I now take it that this spot is just to talk Trek. So I'll just say, TNG was my favorite, Picard my all time Captain, and the great appeal of Roddenberry's universe for me has always been the sense of a future ruled more by reason and equality than primal emotions and might makes right. Even as a kid this idea hit me and I'm sure was one of the reasons I am who I am. Or maybe it appealed to me because I was who I was. Question best left for another time and place and probably greater mind. I did love the JJ Abrams reboot and look forward to more.
