I am a professional Information Security Engineer for a large corporation in VA. Originally from Houston, Tx, I ended up in CT after an 11 year stint in the Navy. Having traveled extensively in the Navy to East Coast, West Coast, Alaska, Hawaii, Japan, Okinawa, Korea, Hong Kong, Australia, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, Panama, and the Virgin Islands. I am still in the Navy Reserves and travel quite often on special assignments. I try to work out at least 4 days a week and consequently limit my alcohol and fatty foods. Prefer grilled food over heavy pasta dishes and take vitamins and workout supplements. I try to not eat fried foods, but do like freshly ground coffee, cappuccinos, lattes, and micro-brewed beer. I have my own home gym with free weights, workout station, bowflex, total fitness, elliptical, speed bag, etc...

Would like to find a woman with a great sense of humor who cares about herself and tries to live a healthy lifestyle. I like women who can look and act feminine, yet can take care of themselves if they have to. I guess someone who does not panic in stressful situations but also have a soft affectionate, sensitive side. I guess you could say if we were in a horror movie together you would be the lady able to survive to the closing credits, not a victim, you could watch my back as I would yours and you could take out that one zombie sneaking up on my blindside, LOL. Don't worry I would sacrifice myself for you if it comes to that so no zombies would get you!

I enjoy biking, working out, riding horses, hiking, camping, boating, and generally doing outdoor activities together. Afterwards I like snuggling up to a nice fire to watch a movie. I can switch hit between city and country activities. I am a southern gentleman who still believes in chivalry and opens the door as well as hold the chair for my date in restaurants, etc. I have various taste in music and enjoy the arts.
