I want to meet someone who loves sci-fi! Hi, thanks for taking some time to read my profile. Here goes...

I loved both Star Trek and Star Wars as a child. Also Dr Who. I remember watching the old 1950s movies on BBC 2 with my dad (e.g. The Day The Earth Stood Still). As a result I have a life-long passion for Sci-Fi.

DS9 is my favourite Trek series, and Empire is my favourite Star Wars movie.

I'm currently watching Fringe and Dollhouse, and eagerly awaiting the final season of Lost.

My favourite Sci-Fi writer is Philip K. d---. I am (very slowly) working my way through the Sci-Fi masterworks series from Gollanz. I also read a lot of comicbooks.

I do have a life away from Sci-Fi. I have a PhD in applied maths and I'm currently working in financial services. After a few years of high stress I'm getting into sports again.

I'll listen to most musical genres, but my favourites are rock, grunge and metal. REM, Pearl Jam and Metallica are big favourites of mine. I also loved Sisko singing Sinatra in DS9!
