Actually, I don't really like Star Trek, never got into it, but am a big fan of all things sci-fi related: All of the Stargates, Farscape, Babylon 5, 90's Outer Limits. Want to get into BSG one of these days. I believe that sci-fi explores our humanity. There are many questions that it can answer and put into perspective, while at the same time teach us little moral lessons. Any individual with a decent level of intellect and the desire to learn about all things around us is usually attracted to such a genre.
