To explore the vast regions of the heart Star Trek geek ISO of other ST geeks. Own the shows, the movies and read a lot of the novels. I like Star Trek best because it's fundamentally about exploration and it extols my personal values. I'm a Zen humanist in that I practice Zen meditation and have humanist values. I'm an "active" agnostic in the sense that "God" or Ultimate Reality is a never ending exploration v. a static anthropomorphic god. Outside of all the heavy stuff I'm into jazz, rock, pop and classical. I like movies, theatre, concerts and standup comedians. I like to hike too. I like all the series. STNG is the best series but I find DS9 appealing. Favorite characters: Spock, T'Pol, Jadzia Dax, Picard.
