I love sf, but to tell you the truth I am not au courant. I always watched Star Trek back when I still watched television, and still have the Star Trek II dvd, but when I read sf now it's usually not a new book but an old favorite, like Asimov or De Camp or Fritz Leiber. I hope that this site includes those with a passion for fantasy and horror, e.g., Lovecraft and old Universal Horror films like "The Old Dark House."
I am a library worker, love ancient history and the Middle Ages. Somewhat proficient in Latin, Greek, Old English.
Does that sound nerdy enough for you?
