Hi. I'm a social, artistic sort of quasi-intellectual with a big passion for good food, good wine and a good laugh. Absolutely love reading, cooking, travel, theatre, photography and most importantly - people of character and substance! On the other hand I truly detest dishonesty, brussel sprouts and Christmas Shoppers. I'm good at dealing with problems, but won't subscribe to dramatics just to keep things interesting. I like to be able to look after people, but I'm not possessive. I believe the time you spend apart is as important as the time you spend together.

I can usually be found wearing a suit, just because I find it comfortable. I have a rather quirky sense of humour, and really enjoy surreal jokes and odd perspectives. On the music front I don't have many hangups about anything, but really do love jazz/swing, classic rock and classical.

So I guess I'd like to meet someone straightforward and honest, kind and caring to have scintillating conversations and fun excursions with. Sometimes it's nice to just hop on a train and have a magical mystery tour somewhere! I'd love to meet someone with some wacky plans that could be nice adventures to be shared. Life seems to rush by so fast I think you only regret the things you never do (to a point of course!).
