I'm an avid fan of the scifi/fantasy genres. I've been reading, watching, playing or listening to some type of it since third grade where I read A Flinx in Flux by Alan Dean Foster. I grew up watching the original Star Trek and Battle Star Galactica, Space 1999, Buck Rogers and Lost in Space were favorites too. Terry Prachett, Robert Heinlein, J.R.R. Tolkien and Issac Asimov among so many others have stolen uncountable enjoyable hours from my life.
About me in the real world: I've gone back to school for some reason and am getting a degree in Political Science. I enjoy everything from animals, of which I have four of the feline variety, to the Cirque du Soleil. I like the outdoors but am also interested in the cultural attractions of museums and theater. I'm attempting to plumb the musician in me by learning the bass and banjo...I guess I'm trying to reincarnate the image of the renaissance man...hah.
On a final note, some of the most important, that I feel anyway, lessons of life that I have learned I have learned from the heroes and heroines of the imagination and I would enjoy meeting and getting to know those who have learned those same lessons from the same teachers.
