I'm a 21-year-old college student, and I also work full-time to pay my bills. I proudly define myself as weird, in a good way, and often like to do things differently just to be different (though I don't follow through as much as I would like, partly because I also tend to procrastinate). I'm an uber-Trekkie and an uber-geek, and proudly so, and I am fascinated by Trek, especially the technology, and I have a natural affinity for dragons. I also have a general fascination with science fiction and fantasy.

I'm a definite optimist and idealist, with some touches of pragmatism, and I am most certainly a hopeless romantic. I am honest to a fault - I hate to lie, I am usually not very good at it, and while that is usually a good thing, I have been burned a few times because of it. I like to read, and I love my computer (I'm a programming major, a gamer, and I'm going to school over the internet, so go figure). I do enjoy getting outside, going for walks, camping, etc. and I like to play soccer, though my biggest sport-like passion would have to be water tubing (riding a tube being towed behind a motor boat). I can really enjoy getting out and doing stuff in the outdoors, though I enjoy curling up with a movie or a good book, or playing a fun game on my computer, just as much. I'm not really into the party or bar scene; I tend to be reclusive and prefer small groups of close friends, though I can mingle, make new friends, and get up in front of crowds without much trouble.

I'm looking for a serious relationship, someone I can commit my life to, though I'm open to just making new friends, as well. I want someone who is smart and understanding, who cares about me, and will commit to me as deeply as I will commit to her. Someone who is fun, can laugh at herself, who is independent and self-sufficient, but also likes to snuggle and be very close. A fascination for Trek, dragons, general sci-fi, and/or fantasy would be a plus, too, though certainly isn't required.
