A Gypsy Spirit
A Gypsy Spirit Captain Kirk... in my opinion... is *still* the man! I attended my first Trek convention years ago and luckily the featured guest was William Shatner. Who *wouldn't* be hooked after being regaled with that vaunted actor's tales?! The other memorable moment of that day was when one of the costume contents hopefuls walked into the convention hall. He was dressed as a Bor and I *swear* he looked like he walked off a movie set. I noticed that when he walked through the crowd everyone fell silent and backed away from him (as if fearing being touched by him would be to become "assimilated). I've seen all the original Star Trek actors (and actresses) and have their autographs. I also now own my mother's collection of Star Trek memorabilia (as well as the original Star Trek DVD set).
