I am a (about to be) 34 year old single dad of a 1 year daughter. I have a sarcastic sense of humor, but I think I'm a good person, who simply just hasn't found my "one and only" yet. I love the Discovery and Science Channels. I love listening to audiobooks about cosmology and astrophysics. I'm not really a nerd, but definitely a bit of a geek. I have always loved science, and learning new things.
I love all types of movies; I'm a big movie fan. I love going to the movie theater or renting a couple and staying in for the night. I'm also a gamer, typically PC or PS3. (Sorry, not a huge WOW fan, it's good, but I think it's a bit overrated.)
I've been in the IT field for about 15 years. I know more than enough about computers to be sickened by them. ;-P
My daughter Ashlynn is my life, and any parent would understand that. I love kids and if the situation is right, I would like another child eventually, but if that doesn't happen, I'm completely fine with it, Ashlynn fills my heart.
I'm hoping to meet someone who's intelligent with a good sense of humor, has a few similar interests, (I know there are some lady-geeks out there!) is emotionally deep, but also laid back and has confidence in herself and self-respect. Preferably some who generally takes care of herself mentally and physically, I don't mean someone who works out or runs marathons, but although we all know that looks aren't all that high on importance, I'd think most would say that there should be at least some sort of physical attraction, from each side. I hope that makes some sense.
