I'm a nerd, like that statement's original or you really needed that clarification. I'm a big guy who has passions for science and technology and who wants to be able to relax by being able to talk about something OTHER than how to fix their computer or how to use their iPod. I enjoy many science fiction series from 'Trek to BSG (classic & remake), and I'm a massive Whovian. I read comic books and enjoy going to conventions. I'm really into video games, especially vintage VG's.

Who am I looking for? Well, I honestly don't know. Someone who I can talk to about the things I enjoy, who actually has interest in those things (sci-fi, games, tv shows, movies, etc). Someone who can look past my awkwardness to see I'm just a guy who's passionate about his beliefs. Someone who can accept and respect some of my idiosyncrasies. Someone who didn't just have to look up "idiosyncrasies" on google.

I will admit I am a bit distrustful of new people as I've been burned so many times by people claiming they want to be my friend, but only want free tech support.
