Orginal Star Wars geek, circa '77?, take two Although I have a lot of respect for Star Trek, (as it gives us hope for the future and inspires us to create new technologies) I have always been a Star Wars fan, back when my Dad took me to Star Wars in 1977 when I was ten. I belong to my local Fan Force, and enjoy it greatly. I'm not a collector or costumer, so if you want someone who might appreciate that, but not necessarily know nearly everything there is to know about that, I guess I am your girl. I'm currently in transition as far as my career goes, and volunteer with a non-profit ecological organization. In my spare time, I am discovering all that Madison has to offer, and reading (fiction mostly). I enjoy going to science fiction conventions, when I get a chance to, here in town. The rest of time is spent out and about, listening to my favorite pod casts. I am curious as to what Kathleen Kennedy and company can do with the Star War saga at this point. My favorite character would have to be Master Jocasta Nu, the librarian. That would be a sentimental choice, being that my Mother was a librarian and Master Nu lost her life defending her library during the Clone Wars. Right now, it would be wonderful just to find some fellow Star Wars fans to hang with in the Madison area. (Note: our Fan Force group is very small, so if you are at all inclined, please join us.)
