Browncoat girl looking for someone who groks her Hello!

I am a fairly tall, heavy-set girl with auburn hair and hazel eyes. I love film, theatre, literature, SciFi, photography, road trips, and much more. I am not religious and not political and have no wish to change that.

Some favorite nerd obsessions: Lord of the Rings, Sherlock Holmes, Firefly, Robert Heinlein, Neil Gaiman, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek, Star Wars (limited to the original three films), Shakespeare, Dinosaurs, British Sitcoms (e.g. Monty Python, A Bit of Fry and Laurie, etc), Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the Big Bang Theory, Westerns, Steampunk, and much more.

I enjoy comic books and graphic novels, although I am still building my collection.

First and foremost, I'm a word nerd. I love learning about etymology and studying the evolution of language. I'm also something of a spelling and grammar fiend. Using netspeak (e.g. lol, brb) is okay occasionally, but I tend to get frustrated by the laziness inherent in entire conversations based in this (e.g. hw r u im fine).

I am a shapely but zaftig (read: chubby, heavy, fat, rubenesque, what have you) gal who loves to laugh. The kind of man I typically go for (i.e. my 'type') would be a tall, broad-chested, strong-jawed type. See: Chief Tyrol in Battlestar (with a sense of humor), Jayne Cobb in Firefly (with a little more intelligence, please), Christopher Reeve's Superman (little more assertive). I'm not saying that looks are all-important, but that's usually what I gravitate towards.

What I want is a man who will make me laugh, who will have adventures with me, who can speak intelligently on things both nerdy and not. A man to go to a Con with, or who will go to the theatre with me. A man of passion and love.
