looking for love in scifi i love star trek, star wars, babylon 5, battlestar galactica, dune, stargate, farscape, dr. who, and many other galaxies. i love reading scifi and especially playing it on pc or tabletop. i grew up with star trek the next generation from the age of 3, so scifi is my life. i have a real thing for starships, as i even design and build my own scale models.

i am looking for the love of my life, and also friends who are located around my area. i've just never had much fun with girlfriends who weren't in to scifi. i really want to meet someone who loves scifi as much as i do. someone who can talk geek with me just as well as i can.

other than scifi, i do enjoy bicycling and canoeing around the north woods. i play some music on alto saxophone, clarinet, and piano. i would love to be able to play duets together. i also thoroughly enjoy listening to music of many genres.

i have been working at a machine shop in spooner for the past 8 years and i have found a niche in the company. i run cnc mills when we have the work, but i also fill in positions around both the fabrication building and the paint shop.

i would like to visit my more distant relatives, but many live in minnesota with a few in tennessee and california. the few friends i have outside work are very close to me. i appreciate the ones who live nearby and i respect the choices of those who have moved across the country.

besides scifi, i am a huge fan of the real universe beyond earth. even though our lives have tremendous meaning to us and those who know us, on a cosmic scale the earth is just one planet among trillions. i enjoy thinking of the incredible diversity of life and environments that should exist within our universe.
