I actually got on this site thinking it was just a site for those who are passionate about trek or sci-fi in general. Then I learned of it being an actual social/dating site which is cool in its own right. However, I did actually get on here to chat about sci-fi. If anyones interested I would like to actually try to garner attention to the trek passions chat room by organizing a weekly meet. Like say Thursday at 8 est? If anyones interested I'd say give it three hours of your log-on time and see if anyone shows up. I'm going to be there and I love to talk...just look at this post. So I hope some peoople show and I'm going to try and make it a weekly thing until people actually start attending. Then I'd like to up it a little but we'll cross that wormhole when we get there. hope that wasn't too corny.)

Let the "hooking up" attract the advertisers and their moolah; let the subject be what we're needing- other people who know that 42 is the answer. (I know you know the aggravated look you get at the office!)

Why not just list our screen names here? There's plenty of chat in the internets. We can always just siphon whoever happens to be available into the chat vortex whenever we please.
