And Masi Oka was nominated for Best Supporting Actor!!!! I am more excited about that the the other nomination. It would be so cool to see a self-professed nerd win a Golden Globe!
Heroes also got a Writer's Guild of America nomination for best new series. Big day!

I'll take the nominations because it shows that Heroes is getting noticed. I doubt they'll win, only 11 episodes up against full seasons of 24 and Lost makes their chances pretty slim. Masi is a new guy and they rarely get an award when it comes to the first nomination.

Ah, but remember that the Golden Globes are more of a popularity contest than the Emmys. Heroes has a damn good shot at winning it. And Masi is THE breakout character this season for all of the networks. Also, 24, which hasn't aired since the spring isn't as fresh in the voters minds as Heroes. The Golden Globes is usually far more representative of the general public than most awards.

If it's a popularity contest than expect Grays Anatomy to win since that show gets high ratings for ABC, more than Lost. I trust that the Golden Globes will try to be more legitimate instead of going for what's popular. Masi is up against some better actors Jeremy Irons for "Elizabeth I" and Thomas Haden Church for "Broken Trail" are no jokes. Hey I hope Heroes does win, it confirms that I'm watching a good TV series.

Not aclue, and I like it that way. I hate "predictable", and Heroes has been pretty much unpredictable.

It was an okay episode - though the face-off between Peter and Sylar was kind of a non-event. Really, they could have just as well shown this episode a month ago and left us hanging for the one that will air next week - now THAT looks like it's going to be a good episode! I can't wait to see the "What If?" scenario for five years into the future.

It was good not great but passable. Although why Peter had his back to Sylar before he got the piece of glass stabbed to his head is beyond me. It was just a squabble but I think it's just a preview of the big battle to come, Peter vs. Sylar round 2. Next week's episode looks really good, I mean X-Men "Days of Future Past" good.

Very good comparison there, Rayman. What a great episode. Man, do things suck five years on. I am really looking forward to next weeks, now that we know what COULD happen if things aren't changed quickly. Shudder

Work has been insanely busy, even on third shift. Adter dealing with that, I just generally don't have the energy to get on when I am home. The only time you will get to see me till September is on the slow nights.
