NBC has announced it fall schedual wit a morder version of the Bionic Woman. (removed) looks like they are using the BSG model. Modernised story with better FX but nods to the origional story. the catch line is " A classic reborn, Better, Stonger, Faster"

This could be pretty good, and the new Jamie is pretty hot.

Ok, I'm not going to spoil this one... I'm usually a purest when it comes to Sci-Fi and most of the time I think remakes bomb.I remember watching the 6 million dallier man and the Bionic Woman in the mid 80's. But I find that the new Bionic Woman really work and stood on it's own even with the changes. I'll bet money if this show gets high ratings or at least a year they'll introduce the the 6 million $$$ Man.

The thing is, $6 Million doesn't get you much these days. I heard once they were going to do a movie but he would be all recycled materials, like Damon Waynes "Blank Man" or Inspector Gadget. Maybe he'll be the $6 Billion Man

I found the premier episode slow, if not bordering on boring. Took too long getting to the point, but I suppose there are lots of people younger than me who don't remember the original series, so the premise needs to be established all over again.

Looks like it might be getting better now that the "set up" is out of the way, but frankly if there was anything better on its time slot I'd probably be watching that. It might end up being a "hit" simply due to lack of competition.

Also, is this show going to be a "refugee camp" for Battlestar Galactica actors or what (three so far)? I've already jokingly started referring to the show as "Battlestar Bionica." Frankly I'd rather see more seasons of Galactica than have Bionic Woman siphon off the talent.

Haven't seen this weeks yet but it seems most Sci-fi series this year are takingb themseves too seriosly. If BW is taking BSG I hope they get some from behind the Camera too.
I'm still waiting for Fembots and MAX-A-Million

The series started off strong but after the fifth episode it just didn't keep my interest. The last thing I read is that the producers are retooling the series because of low ratings.

I'm with you. Not enough happening to keep my attention.

`I'm glad. It just wasn't any good. I know that producers are always looking to make a buck but I wish they would stop make remakes and come up with more original things.

.I still think that bad sci-fi is better than no sci-fi. With all the good shows being cancelled, we are once again waiting for the sci-fi channel to fulfill our need for better shows.
