WOW! Some very unexpected stuff in this ep. Hiro's dad is a good guy, the deaths of Linderman, Thompson, and DL. The last two really surprised me, especially Linderman. I thought sure he would be manipulating things for years to come. And how good of an actor is Zachary Quinto as Sylar? Last week's ep with his mother (the incredible Ellen Greene) and then this weeks' shows the depth of his ability as he made us almost feel sorry for him last week and go back to full burning hate this week. Wow again!
And the whole interplay between Kaito and Hiro this week was great. I am So glad Kaito turned out to be a good guy and is helping Hiro. I hope to the heaven's Ando doesn't get killed because he adds so much to the show. Not to mention seeing how his death affected future Hiro, I really don't want to go down that road. I really hope we don't lose any more of our Heroes in the finale, but I am really worried we will. So what did everyone else think? I KNOW next week is too far off.
Also, I noticed Sci Fi Channel is running a marathon of all 21 episodes this Saturday, so if you missed any, now's your chance!

DL looks like he's alive still, although that may not last long, in the future Sylar has his power. I thought Linderman was going to stick around next season so that was totally unexpected. Thanks for the trip about the marathon even though I'm attending a con this weekend. I checked out their schedule, if only the sci-fi channel would put these episodes in order for people who have never seen the show.

I agree, I can hardly wait until next weeks Season Finale!
You're right that I *almost* felt sorry for Sylar when he went home to visit his Mom, but he is such a mentally screwed up psychopath you certainly couldn't like him nor excuse his actions. I'm really hoping Hiro can stop Ando before Sylar kills him. As for Hiro's Dad being a "good guy?" It may be a little early to make that declaration. Don't forget, dear ol' Dad has connections to the Agency Without A Name bunch. Granted, their agenda and Hiro's are the same (to stop Sylar), but I certainly don't think that means Kaito is a good guy. On the other hand, Mr. Bennet seemed totally evil at the beginning of the series, and he's shaping up to be a kind of hero himself.
I don't think Linderman is actually dead. He healed Heidi Petrelli's paralysis. Perhaps he can also heal himself like Claire can. I frankly get the STRONG impression that Linderman and the matriarch of the Petrelli clan had a fling back in the day and his interest in Nathan is more than just political back-room dealing. I think Nathan is Linderman's son, which would make Claire the grand-daughter of Linderman, possibly explaining her "healing" power (though the specific powers don't appear to be passed from one generation to another, just the potential for A power).
I don't think we can take too much stock in what we saw happening 5 years in the future. We only saw the results, we didn't see how that future came to be, so it may already have changed. Maybe in the other timeline DL didn't get shot? Though we arguably didn't see him DEAD either, so Sylar could still nab his power. "Future Sylar" also had the ability to look like Nathan Petrelli (so he must kill whats-her-name, Candice?), and he flew too, so "Future Sylar" killed Nathan as well. I guess the question is, will all (or any) of that happen this time around?
I love this show because it keeps me guessing and throws curves. I love it when a TV show doesn't treat the audience like idiots.

You know Candace(i think thats her name) could have planted that whole scene in Jessicas and Dl's Heads Linderman could still be alive and could heal DL. I wonder what power Pappa Petrelli had?
Thats a future Eppisode I want to see, Hiro going back to the Team of Nakamora, Petrelli, & Linderman.
Will someone shut that man up

Some things about Linderman having the healing ability:
We've never seen him heal himself, only another person, so he may not have that ability. From what we now know, Claire doesn't have the ability to heal others, only herself. Linderman's might work in reverse. I would not rule that out, or that he is Claire's grandfather, either.
Second, Peter and Claire both died, and weren't able to heal until the piece of glass in Peter's case, and the tree limb in Claire's, were removed. We've also been led to believe that, if their brains were removed by Sylar, they would be dead, unable to heal. As DL ripped out a good chunk of Linderman's brain COULD he heal from that? (Which scene, by the way, stunned me that it got past the censors. Way to go NBC!)

Do you, or anyone for that matter, know why SFC DID start the marathon with the episode with Claire's homecoming? The pilot ep won't even make in on the air until 11 PM, running the first epse until 5 am. No logic I can deduce here.

My guess is to put episodes 20,21,22, in the prime time hours of 8:00pm-11:00pm which leads to the finale on Monday.

That's the only thing we could figure out too.
