I am a life long Trekkie and sci fi geek in general. I love going to conventions, tho I don't dress up, mostly cause I always end up meeting some actor I admire and would rather be myself. And because I would never make it in Starfleet - too many early mornings! I do however have a very cool med blue Star Trek t-shirt.

I recently moved from Vancouver BC to Portland and promptly joined the Star Trek Meet Up group. I have yet to attend an event but just being a member is comforting. I miss Space Channel in Canada; I will especially miss the 12 day of Spacemas they run every Christmas time. They used to run a Star Trek movie marathon and I will never get tired of watching any of those films.

I know it's not most Trekkies fav but I really like Enterprise. Then of course STNG and then original series. DS9 comes next, (I say watch the last season first, then go back an watch it from the beginning). Then there's Voyager. Although I would have pushed Neelix out an airlock after the first week...

I would love to find a man who loves sci fi and the Trek world as much as I do. I'm still looking for a man who is athletic and outdoorsy, but it would be awesome to be able to share the Sci Fi passion and be excited about watching the same movies and TV shows.

I am finding the guys on other dating sites don't seem to have an interest in Star Trek or Sci Fi. At least they don't mention it. It's mostly hunting, fishing, motorcycles, cars, etc. Don't get me wrong, I'm an athletic girl and love being outside, but I think when I mention what a geek I am, they don't know what to make of it.

At best, I hope to find a relationship here, and if not, some new friends to geek out with. Conversation would never be boring to me!
