My Trek fascination had humble beginnings in a distant time; TNG was a family event in our household and I have very early memories of watching TOS on a tiny black and white tv in my bedroom, and more recently I have fallen in love with Voyager. Over the years my love of all things Star Trek has evolved into near obsession status, though with my immediate family being the main exception, I know very few Trekkies. At 29 years old, a single mom of two young children, my social life has begun to fade into oblivion and I find myself seeking like minds with which to share my passions and interests. I enjoy eclectic tastes in just about anything, so chances are we can find some common ground (beyond Star Trek) to share. I am not at all looking for anything physical/romantic, but if things go that way over time I will not object. I've joined the site in hopes of at least opening new doors, meeting new people and if all goes well, making some lasting friendships along the way. I am quite a friendly person who will only judge another for what's on the inside - age, politics, creed, physical attributes, s----lity are irrelevant - if we can simply hold a conversation it'll be smooth sailing ahead If you want to know more about me don't hesitate to ask.
