In a nutshell, I believe the greatest things in life are laughter and the ability to imagine the world outside of oneself. I adore interacting with people that can appreciate the same thing.

I'm a huge fan of science fiction on TV and will watch pretty much anything. My favorites are Farscape, Star Trek (particularly TNG and Voyager although I ennoy the others with the exception of Enterprise--yuck), Firefly, the new Battlestar Galactica and X-Files. But I'm a fan of many more sci-fi gems on TV (Xena/Hercules which sorta counts, Stargate SG1, sorta, etc.).

When it comes to books and movies, my favorite scenes are bleak, post-apocolyptic tales of social commentary--and anything with a vampire. My favorite science fiction authors are Octavia Butler and Ursula LeGuin who have written some of the best social commentary science fiction ever.

I'm always looking to expand my horizons and I love suggestions!
