I enjoy all sorts of activities and I'll try (almost) anything, except hills. I very much dislike walking up hills.

I'm currently a full-time student, trying to get a degree in Life Sciences so I can apply to medical school in 2011 or 2012. That's pretty much my only burning ambition!

I'm also learning to speak French, learning to play the piano, and trying to go to the gym religiously for more than a couple of months. I think the last one will be my undoing.

At the moment, I spend most of my free time in the countryside reading Discworld novels and textbooks, but only when the weather's nice. I am a fairweather nature enthusiast.

I love books and read far too much. At the moment I'm going through the Terry Pratchett Discworld novels again. I also collect Star Wars novels and the memoirs of doctors, amongst other medical literature.
