Ultimately, I'd like a long term, committed, passionate relationship - which requires being friends first, IMuHO. I am a mature, intelligent, eclectic sci-fi geek with a vocabulary that could stun a horse. I'm looking for someone who can hold their own while being compassionate, someone with an eye for details who can also appreciate the big picture, and whose pragmatism doesn't blind them to the wonders of the universe. I am the romantic hiding behind the cynic's mask, the liberal arts major who's a wannabe math nerd, the poet who compulsively solves for [x]. I want someone to watch the meteor showers with, someone to dissect cinema with, to compare books with, to eventually wake up with - a friend (and more) for the end of the world.
