I'm a huge Star Trek nerd, but that much is probably obvious. My favorite series is Voyager. I have all of them on DVD. I also have all the films, all of TNG, and all the Original Series. I have a large collection of films. Mostly horror and scifi; Dune, Star Wars, Logans Run, Hellraiser. Lots of stuff!

I'm an Atheist and a Trek inspired Socialist. I seek someone who shares similar religious and political ideas.

I have an Anthropology degree from UT and I'm currently seeking three additional degrees in Biology, Physics and Astronomy.

I enjoy camping, backpacking, kayaking, and other such outdoor activities. (Eagle Scout : )

I enjoy eating all types of food.

I am very musically inclined and have many instruments. I am best at playing the guitar and singing. I also play tuba in the marching band. Some of my favorite bands are Alice in Chains, Matchbox Twenty, and The Beatles, but I like a great diversity of music.

I am a native Texan, but I also speak Danish, some Italian, and some Spanish.

I love to travel, and have done so quite extensively in the US and many nations. I studied abroad in Belize and Guatemala.

I drink socially and in moderation with a preference for wine. I do not smoke.

I currently work as an assistant researcher in a Genetics Lab.

I am a very driven and goal oriented person and usually have a sarcastic sense of humor.

I have no preference for race, class, or gender. I see all people as equal and consider myself a citizen of the world.

I have a very laid back personality. I do not often express emotion (Vulcan like at times ). Although I am well versed in physical romanticism, it is not the driving force of my existance. I am looking for someone who is diverse, independant, shares my beliefs, has many goals of there own, brings something to the table, and someday desires a family.
