Why Travel at Warp when Impulse Will Do Just Fine?

I'm a fan of all the Treks, particularly the Next Generation. I thought the latest movie was great, for the new timeline certainly allows us to go where no Trek fan has gone before. I also like other sci-fi such as Stargate, Dr. Who, Star Wars, and so much more. I've spent most of my life taking care of sick family members. I now want to have a real, happy life of my own and would like to build that life together with a special girl. I think it's very important to be friends first, for I think that friendship is the basis of most solid, satisfying, long-term relationships. Some of the things I like to do are go to amusement parks, arcades, zoos, public gardens, malls (the Disney Store and Hot Topic are my favs), quaint downtown areas (like Bethlehem, PA, Newton, NJ, and Cooperstown, NY), drive-in movies, bookstores, and libraries, play mini-golf, board games, and card games, go on wilderness hikes and road trips, celebrate holidays, watch fireworks displays, and have in-depth conversations. In addition to sci-fi/fantasy, I'm extremely interested in the paranormal. I like all types of movies, including romantic comedies. I'm not really interested in bars and clubs. I have a very positive attitude toward animals, including those of the plush variety. I'm really just starting out in life -- I guess I could be called a "late bloomer". I've never been married, and have never had children, so I would prefer a relationship with a girl in a similar situation. I'm not a player; I'm looking for a relationship that's meaningful and lasting. I'm a complete romantic: I truly believe in love, marriage, and in "happily ever after".
