Forrest J. Ackerman the man who coined the term Sci-fi has passed away. I have jsut read an article on the net about his passing. He dided of heart fallure in L.A. and was 92.

I had seen him in cameo roles in various sci-fi movies, some of which were real turkeys, the real z-grade stuff. I had also seen him interviwed on TV a few times in which he showed off his extensive colection of sci-fi and horror memobilia. I jsut wonder what will happen to it now he is passed on. I thougt he was jsut some uber-fan but I found out thur the articles he was a littery agent who work as a editor for a pulp magizine and help get Ray Bradury started as a writer.

I do not have any links here but you can find his obituray on the net at wired.com in the underwire blog section.
