Active during. . .

I've noticed a lot of dating sites will have a field in member's profiles that says something to the effect of:

"Active during the last 24 hours" or "Last online a week ago"

I don't know what would be involved with putting something similar into profiles and search results in the Passions Network, but it would be nice to know if someone was actually regularly logging in here, checking their messages, etc., as opposed to those who set up a profile and then abandon it.

We've stopped all development temporarily until the new site design is rolled out. The new design will result in a number of programming changes aside from a different look, and we don't want to make too many changes at the same time.

While 'last login' information is not currently visible within a member's profile, it is used to help determine search and browse results already.

Whenever you browse the site, or run a search, you will always see members based (in some part) on when they last logged in. There are a number of other factors involved in the display of search/browse results too though, like whether or not a member has a photo and a unique description in place.

Also, you can see whether or not someone has read the mail you sent them by clicking on the 'Sent' folder within your email management area.

The new site design has been finished, and we expect to begin converting over to it right away, although we will most likely not make if visible until most of the major pieces are in place.

Once the transition to the new look is complete, we will begin adding new features back into the site.
