Newbie

Hola,
I'm a newbie to the whole trek passions thing. I though it was a little silly at first, but then I was like, seriously, where else am I going to talk to someone who speaks geek? I love the whole Star Trek arena, but have a special love for DS9. I recently discovered Firefly (Saw the movie before the series) and am heartbroken that it was canceled. I still have hope that they'll make a part two to Serenity. I still love cartoons, mostly old (80's) but some new (Jimmy Neutron). I love to read almost anything sci-fi/ fantasy. My fav. authors are Peter David, Douglas Adams, Laurell K. Hamilton and Simon R. Green. There are many others, but that's the short list. While I am largely a couch potato my true passion is actually for SCUBA diving. Well, that's me in a nutshell. Glad to be here and I hope to have some good conversations with you all!
