Ok, so I'm curious. Where is everyone when they're logged into Trek Passions?
When I've logged in I often click the "See Who's Online" link and there will usually be between 8-10 people logged in when it's slow and 30+ at some times on the weekends. But there are only a few people who regularly post in the forums and another few who have blogs. Go into the Chat and there will be nobody in the Trek Passions room, and maybe 3-5 folks in the "Lobby" (and since that's not specific to this site, whomever is in there isn't necessarily someone who's logged in from here).
I haven't joined any other "passions" in the network, but I'm guessing that if you also belonged to, for example "Nerd Passions," and logged in there that you'd be shown as "online" across the entire network? So you might be shown as logged in here, when you're really logged in and active somewhere else on the Passions Network?
I doubt everyone who's logged in is Instant Messengering each other, though I suppose some might be. Or is it a case of people logging in to check messages and then forgetting to log out?
I just find it a bit odd that it will show X number of people logged on, yet they don't seem to be anywhere doing anything. So where is everyone hiding???

Well, given that every time I've gone into the Trek Passions chat room I've been the only person logged into it, I suppose by default I must be the one dominating it. LOL

Check out the Lobby Every time I went there it was filled with Goths. I tried flirting with a girl in the lobby but she was using this site to h--k up with an exsisting boy friend. she was in for the good natured flirting but he jumped down my throat

I was talking about just the Trek Passions chat room. Since the chat page says the "Lobby" is a shared space by all the sites in the Passions Network I didn't see any reason to go into a room where I'd be LESS likely to find a fellow sci-fi fan to chat with.

I usually post from work, but the last two weeks have been hectic and I haven;t had time. But I am here for a minute or two tonight with a little breathing room, so thought I would pop in and see what i have missed. I can't do chat from work, or IM, though.
