Its official Invasion has been canceled by ABC, Variety reported. Surface is nowhere to be seen on NBC's schedule for the fall which was announced yesterday, it's very unlikely it will come back. There's still hope for Invasion since there are rumors The CW network is interested in the series.

is there anything more anoying than series cancelled after 1 season?

| I'm not surprised. I found Invasion to be a big snore. I tried to watch Surface but it didn't interest me past the first episode. |

Out of the three major network offersings last season, Invasion, Surface, and Threshold, I'd have to say that Invasion was the best of the three. It started off pretty slow. But as I watched it, I got the feeling they were trying to do a series based on INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS and I have expected to see someone running around shouting at people saying "They're here! Don't go to sleep!"
Surface was just one long movie that died of it's own weight. And Threshold was just boring. |
