We here in the States are rather Xenophobic. There are few good cross overs where we can see Excelent Brittish Actors. A lot of the good actors end in the Potter films. so when they show up on Who thats the first thing I see Cassandra Shows up and I think "ooh its Madame Hooch" Luckily Tennant role in Goblet Of Fire was so short, and his acting is so good i can forget he was Barty Crouch Jr. I guess I should just grab a beer, numb my brain, and enjoy the show

Wait'll Barty Crouch Sr shows up later in the season then. Kind of a role reversal as Mr. LLoyd Pack is the bad guy this time. There is a much smaller pool of talented actors in England than there is here due to the smaller population, so a LOT of actors show up in Doctor Who that you will have seen in other things. Like you said, just grab a beer and go with it.

I thought it was appropraite to bring this thread back up after The Shakespeare Code episode, which could alternately be called Doctor Who Meets Harry Potter. LOL Have you seen it yet Cooky? If not, be patient. SFC is airing series three starting July!!! Hurrah!!!

I got to see the important bits on youtube before my system crashed 6 week ago. I just hope that it airs on or before July 21st. The Doctors comment on book 7 will lose something after we all have read it " Way to go J K!"

As The Shakespeare Code is the second ep of the series, it should air in time. But, I can not find an official start date anywhere.

At least with the TARDIS, you alway end up somewhere intresting. With Sci Fi Cahnnel, you usually get a rerun of a series that lasted a season or a grade Z movie. *sigh*

True that!!! It's For The Science Fiction Channel Seem to have forgotten there was Science Fiction Before the 90's. I'm just glad that realised that there is Science Fiction Done out side North America or we'd never see the new Who

Thats one of the best bits of living in the uk, we love to see and hear all our actors in different things. Whats even more strange is hearing people who have been in Doctor Who before doing voice overs for adverts.
Tom Baker does alot of voice overs and Ace (Sophie Aldred) on an insurance ad.

Somewhere I have a clip of Tom Baker, and I think, Lalla Ward doing a commercial for a telephone service in New Zealand.
