Oh, it was "remastered". By that I mean it was brought back to the original quality of the original masters. Not that they remastered it to today's standards.

Someone wrote a review that they have the bootleg DVD-R Laserdisc editions of the originals and these look better than what they released on DVD. Picture quality wise I suspect this came from VHS copies George must have had in his closet for years.

I'm watching the unaltered verson of EPIV and am a little dissaponted that they didn't make it 5.1 audio but still I like the fact that they're on DVD instead of the decaing Video tape.
