How many of you folks are on more than just Trek Passions on the Passions Network? I am on several others and those forums almost never see new posts. If some of you are on the other forums, what keeps you from posting on them? On some, I am the only person who has posted in months, if ever. I am also curious how many use some of the other features, like the blogs?

This is the only one I've started posting on. I only joined the site a week ago.

I'm on the tattoo one, the nerd one, and the reading one...and yeah, this is probably the most active board and the most interesting...and I'm a one-forum kind of gal..so yeah..mystery of the universe, I guess.

I'm on a handfull of them as well. I post when there appears to be something to post about. That's just not the case in all the forums right now. I don't have time to jump around a kazillion forums every day either. I'm supposed to be work and all. ;)

When I arrived at Trek Passions forums it was definitely a virgin board, not one post. So I started posting like crazy then people started to get into the discussions and made their own topics. I'm proud to say this is the most active board on the passions website (unless there are others I don't know about).lol

Leave it Sci-fi Fans to do most the talking! We aren't afraid to cover subjects that may be offensive. I'd like to think that we are all welling to listen to everyone's opinions and thoughts and not make judgement calls on the person, but I also know human nature enough to know that passionate feelings about a subject matter often collide and can reduce the coverstation to name calling and belittlement.

As for the original question... I've no desire to go to any of the other passion sections. I like this one just fine. I feel as if I'm at least with people who enjoy the same things I do and are willing to let me spout my opinions without jumping down my throat about it.

I hope this site can continue to grow and become a better social site for what it is meant for and that is: 1. to find romance and 2. to talk about things non-standard in the way of entertainment. Sci-fi, horror, etc. :)

Beware the beast Man for he is the Devil's pawn.
Alone among God's primates, he kills for sport, or ----, or greed.
Yea, he will murder his brother to possess his brother's land.
Let him not breed in great numbers, for he will make a desert out of his home and yours.
Shun him. Drive him back into his jungle lair.
For he is the harbinger of death.

Thanks to everyone who has replied so far. I am a very eclectic person with interests outside of sci fi, so take part in other forums. I was curious how many others did the same and I seem to be the only one so far!

Nice to see a new poster. I am sure things will pick back up after the holidays and when the shows we love come back from their breaks in January.
